Record Low Turnover

Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy, SR Nagar, Hyderabad, Nov. 10: The entire college recorded the lowest attendance of the year today, owing to the fact that yesterday was Diwali and most students burst crackers late into the night. In the IIT Campus, JIIT1 recorded an abysmally low attendance of 29 out of 53. The highest attendance came in at around 60% in JIIT3. Sr ICON and Sr ISB clocked a large attendance since both had an exam today, but even they had above-average absentees.

Mrs. Latika, English HOD, told OTFS that in the AIEEE Campus, where the average size of each class is 60 students, the merger of two classes yielded just 20 students, while in the BiPC campus, a class had just five students in it!

In spite of this lack of attendance, the college did not terminate classes. Most of the classes were declared study hours as it was impossible ton allow so many students to skip so many concepts.

As a last-ditch effort, the IIT Campus was let off at 4:30 PM. The First Years will have a short IPE Exam on Monday.

In Sr ISB, the air conditioning had been turned on for a few minuted before college was dismissed!

Reporting from SR Nagar and Ameerpet:
The roads were completely deserted today as office-goers skipped this one day of work to take and extended weekend. For the first time in a long time, traffic flowed through the Ameerpet Crossroads freely. The roads in front of all shops were covered with paper from crackers.

Reliance Fresh, Ameerpet is celebrating its first anniversary and it giving away items at unbeatable prices as well as dishing out exclusive schemes to woo customers. Hurry! (OTFS)
