Discrimination, et al

WEEK 27 DAY 3

Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy, SR Nagar, Hyderabad, Dec. 5: Mrs. Jhansi implemented her new rules today by forcing JIIT1 (JISB) to stay back till 5:30 PM. She however, did not personally take part in the procedure but asked Counselor Mrs. Uma to act as a coordinator while Mr. Vara Prasad gave a short assignment to the students.

This new system, though liked by most students, makes it difficult to ask doubts without staying back till 6:00 PM; something that nobody wants to do.

To add to this confusion, Mrs. Jhansi released a list of ten students (the top ten rankers of JIIT1), who would additionally be required to have their assignments attested by the lecturer before they go home. Some of the names include Sushobhan, Abhiroop, Divya Ravi, Vaishnavi, Aditya, Akshay and Namrata.

EAMCET Results
Yesterday's EAMCET results (provisional) came out today. Divya Ravi scored the highest with 134/160, followed by Sushobhan Sen (130). Mrs. Jhansi is presumably demanding a minimum of 115-120.

Mr. Giribabu said that SR Nagar was performing relatively poorly and scolded the class for the same.

Trouble Tomorrow
Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the Babri Masjid massacre and a black day is expected to be observed. Consequently, some quarters have been talking of a holiday tomorrow. In any case, security will have to be tight. Around Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, cars are being searched for any trouble, NDTV reports. (OTFS)
