Records Made in JIIT1

WEEK 28 DAY 2
7 MONTHS

Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy, SR Nagar, Hyderabad, Dec. 11: The results of yesterday's IIT Unit Test-8 were declared today, with nearly twnety students in JIIT1 (JISB) scoring above the critical 300 mark, the highest being at 396. This is without any key correction (which are worth around 15 marks).

Talking to the class, Mrs. Jhansi, Vice Principal, looked happier than ever. Students who had scored even below 300 were spared, as long as they had qualified in all subjects i.e., had scored 60 marks or more combined in each subject. Except a minuscule fraction, all had achieved this. She even allowed JIIT1 students to go home at 5:00 PM , after the Principal addressed them!

The Principal also spoke separately to the top ten students and told them that they needed to master the first year syllabus as second year would accelerate at breakneck speed.

Mr. Giribabu and Mr. Shyam told the students that although they had done presumably well, relatively, they had performed average. The highest mark in the city comes from ECIL Campus at 445/486, itself a record.

Meanwhile, in J1, Mrs. Jhansi took cognizance of one particular student (name withheld) who had been showing 'no interest in studies' (sic) and warned him that if he performed badly in next week's AIEEE and EAMCET Part Tests - the syllabus of which was released today - he would be shifted to J4.

From the Seniors
OTFS has learned that in the Sunday's IIT Unit Test, the Sr. ISB performed presumably badly. at least ten of 30 people failed to qualify in something or the other. The highest cam in at 393.

The AIEEE Test Series (AITS) would continue for them. On Monday, they wrote an AIEEE Test followed by an EAMCET test. (OTFS)
