WEEK 32 DAY 2
Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy, SR Nagar, Hyderabad, Jan. 8: Mrs. Jhansi dropped a bomb on students of JIIT1 today by informing then that students of all classes would have to write their first ever Pre Final the week after the Pongal holidays, effectively canceling out all hopes of a tension-free exam. She said that the minimum mark for a student in J1 was 90% including languages, and any student who fails this target would not be given their hall tickets but would have to write the June supplementary exams, after the college declares its "toppers". This cut-off does not apply to other classes.
The results of yesterday's internal AIEEE Test were declared today. Sushobhan Sen of JIIT1 topped the campus with 267/360, followed by Aditya (254). Apparently, all suggested key corrections have been made but rolling-based questions were not deleted, which was a demand from JIIT1.
Tomorrow would kick-off the last series of IPE tests before the vacations. Also, the syllabus for Thrusday's Second Language test was declared today.
IIT Grand Test
The college will be holding a grand test for IIT on February 10 for First years. It would contain the entire syllabus. VP Mrs. Jhansi asked the students to simply attempt the paper, but not take it very seriously... a move that left JIIT1 shell-shocked. IIT UT-10 will be held on Jan. 28.
IPE would be the soul point of interest after Feb. 10. (OTFS)
