The Colombian rebels FARC have finally released their hostage Clara Rojas and former legislator Consuelo Gonzalez de Perdomo, who have been held captive for over six years. This move would have been impossible without help from fiery Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
So while the former legislator looks for her son, fathered from a guerrilla, Chavez is the man of the hour.
"You are free now," he told the former hostages.
Indeed, they are free. And this thanks to Hugo Chavez. Hey, for all his talks of die-America-die, his man has truly shown that he has a heart.
